A photographer trims the photo paper printed in a darkroom to finish his artwork. This model is based on the idea of this trimming. Normally, the rim is designed along with the shape of lens. The front shape of this model is originally Boston type, but trimming the upper rim creates the Crown punt front shape. Cutting off the rim also leads to the lighter front part.
The temple tips are made of acetate to set off the metal front. This model features the cutting rim.
